Purely by accident I stumbled upon this tournament.

I was wandering through a local shopping center when I heard from a far german music (Die Prinzen – Das alles ist Deutschland). I went to this direction and found a Rubik’s Cube Tournament taking place. I have no idea why they played german music though, but the not the first time I heard german music in public places.
The first competition was solving a 2×2 cube with one hand. After this the main competition 3×3 using both hands took place. Best time here was 8,78 sec. The speed they solve these was just breathtaking. Even solving a 3×3 cube with their feet, took most of them less than 2 min. It’s probably still way faster as I would solve it using my hands.
I just love these little random encounters.
