Hanami (花見) is for me the most beautiful season in Japan esp. here in Fukuoka.
It’s in late march/early april when the the cherry blossoms (Sakura 桜) bloom. All over the city you can see beautiful cherry trees. In the city parks people have Hanami parties. At these Hanami parties you sit with friends/family/colleagues under the cherry tree and have a picknick/BBQ or just a couple of beers. These parties the best part of the Hanami season.
