Second (and sadly last) stop on this year’s trip to Taiwan was Yilan.
Yilan lays on the east coast of Taiwan. It has only 100.000 people and therefore is not as crowded and loud as Taipei. I kinda like that. There’s a lot to see and though it rained a lot, I managed to get to everywhere I wanted to go on bicyle without getting to wet. Just like most taiwanese cities the night markets are a must see with their delicious but often quite strange foods. Most I enjoyed just biking along the coast and Yilan river or wandering around town especially at night.
