Second stop on my Taiwan adventure was Kaohsiung.

Kaohsiung is the second largest city in Taiwan. It’s Tuntex Sky Tower is also the second largest building in Taiwan. There’s a lot to see and do here, so 2 days is not enough. But I tried to make the best of it. I climbed the Monkey Montain, went to Cijin Island ate good food ate the night market, seen a lot of beautiful temples and parks and so much more…

It’s pretty easy to get around the city. Public tranport & even taxi are cheap. But the best way to explore the city is by bicycle. They have an awesome city wide bike rental service (first hour is free).

Also in Kaohsiung I tried airbnb for the first time and got really amazing hosts (very conveniently located apartment, cozy room and some good sightseeing tips). Thanks Kristina and Thomas 🙂
