Today Kobe Bryant was working out in my Gym.

I could say I work out with Kobe four times a week, as his picture among with some other Nike endorsed athletes hang everywhere in my Gym. I work out in the very nice gym of the Ritz Carlton. It has an indoor and outdoor pool all kind of crazy machines, weights, free drinks & towels… It’s way more expensive than the Prison Gym I used to go to in Beijing, which had no AC, was kinda dirty and all the treadmills were either broken or busy. However it’s not much more than you pay for a halfway decent gym membership in Germany. After Beijing I felt I deserved a nicer gym plus it’s right next to my school.
This afternoon a lot of kids in LA Lakers shirts were waiting in front of the hotel. The reason was that Kobe Bryant and some other basketball player (I don’t know) were staying at the Ritz Carlton. In the gym I then saw them and at one point was even standing right beside Kobe pumping iron. His weights however were a bit heavier than mine:-) Due to the tight angry looking security around him I was afraid they take me down if I just take a picture. So I tried to take some from afar or through the mirrors.
