This saturday was “8-Bit Times” theme party in Club Latte.

The Club Latte is one of the fancy clubs in Beijing. It’s a mixed crowd of foreigners (many germans) and locals (including some really rich chinese guys). The interior looks a bit like a upstate whorehouse but it’s a nice party atmosphere and they generally have play some decent music. They even mix in some of the classics like “King of my castle”, which is my all time favorite.
This saturday they had a 8-bit theme going. This meant all personell was dressed as a character from Super Mario. They had some classic consoles in the back and were giving out 8-bit glasses (like the one I’m wearing in the pictures).
Around 1 o’clock they empty the dance floor for a 15 min show, of which I compiled a little best of video.
