This Saturday was the Great Wall Music Festival with headliner David Guetta.
Getting from Beijing to Juyongguan by bus was quite chaotic. Everyone was just pushing and squeezing to get on one of the few buses, which arrived every now and then at the meeting point in Beijing. There was no line or system for getting the people on the bus.
The festival itself appeared quite small for a headliner like Guetta. I would guess a couple of thousand people and most of them non-chinese, like us. Organisation there was just as chaotic as at the bus stops. Getting drinks took forever.
Never the less the concert itself was awesome and totally made up for all the chaos. They had some pretty decent DJs before Guetta. When he finally made his entrance (fashionable 30 min. late) by a really nice light show everyone was going crazy. It was an amazing night and I just wished it would have been a bit longer as already at 10:30 PM it was already finished.
